Memories....

As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you have of you and I together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

Nothing like reminiscing......right?  It's sure to bring a smile to my face, and hopefully yours!

Next (if you choose to), re-post these instructions on your blog and let people leave a memory about you.

If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Jen, all of my 8th grade memories involve you, I could post a ton! but here is one. we were having a sleepover one night at your house, and we made ramen noodles. and for some crazy reason, we decided to eat them on the floor. i mean, we literally put them on the floor in the kitchen and ate them. i don't know what we were thinking. but we had a lot of good times!!

I remember going to Senior Ball and you were in my group. You were with Clint Bunell and I remember being a wee bit jealous because I thought he was sooooo cute! Good times!

Remember our road trip to Ricks with Jennie and Michelle. We were all going to go check it out. We stayed with Jennie's sister and you drove (thanks by the way!). It was blast to go on a road trip together...even though it was really cold up there! Were there snow flurries?? :) It was so fun to hang out with you! You are ALWAYS so nice and fun to be around.

We go way back and there are so many random things running through my mind right now! Mostly I keep thinking of simple things like the ringlets in your hair every Sunday, playing house on your back patio, dressing up in clogging dresses at Sylvia's (we all had assigned colors), your extensive collection of Care Bear books, Mrs. Harms kindergarten class, and the little ceramic doll you game me for my baptism when I turned eight. I also remember when Mike worked at Westmore and locked us both in my dad's office in first grade. Yes random, but fun childhood memories.

you had just had Cecily and we came to your house to see her. not having kids yet, I didn't know how totally EXHAUSTED you must have been and we probably wore out our welcome...but I didn't want to put her down, she was so tiny and cute!

I remember you calling me one afternoon after seeing a huge spider in your house. You were all freaked out. That's a really random memory and definitely not the coolest one I have of you, but it's the first one that came to mind. =) By the way, when are you moving back to Utah? We need you guys!

I remember a BBQ on your driveway with brauts and sauerkraut. Every time I eat sauerkraut now I think of you!

Thanks for the comment of my blog and the Dr. advice. I really appreciate it. I remember being on Student Council with you in 9th grade (oh man, such a long time ago) and hanging out with el Gordo and Blaine Dart.

I'm not playing the "blogging" game, but remember when we went to England? That was a special time for me - being with you. xo

One of the first ones that comes to mind is when you took me for a pedicure for my birthday and we went back to my house and just chatted. We also had fun with you guys going to movies and going out to eat. You also had us over for some yummy dinners. We REALLY miss you guys!!!

I will also never forget what Derrick told you before the first time we hung out (he warned you that I was very tall and not to be scared of me). Fair warning! :)

One of the first memories that comes to mind is driving in your little Honda. Your horn was hilarious and we always had a great time. Thanks for driving us everywhere all over town, especially since people like me didn't have their own car.

You are and have always been so kind and generous and loving. Thanks for your sweet spirit. Continue to me the same you because it is great!

I randomly remember coming to your house before a dance - I think it was the ninth grade dance. I was dressed in a terrible pink dress that I though was fabulous...I don't remember what you were wearing but I am pretty sure we came to your house and went together. You were always the NICEST person in Jr. High and High School. I remember being very jealosu of your perfect skin!

Snow mobiling in WY with the Nields. I think you were freshly pregnant with little Cecily. That was a fun trip.
